“Pūkeko lodge is a nice private house.”
It’s located in a lovely area very handy to the Tongariro river. It’s is however rather small but cosy. The beds are ok, the double would be nice the change for a queen? The bunk room was fantastic. The cleanliness was good but found the coffee Bialetti still full of coffee grinds and mouldy, the coffee plunger was in a very similar fashion.

“The oven does not function as it has screws out of place stopping the oven from closing properly.”
The property does include a hairdryer even though the site says it doesn’t. The only working buttons on the microwave are start and stop. The ceiling fan is very slow and very low, potentially hitting someone and also fanning air away from the smoke detector. The air conditioner is very weak. The rooms are nice, except bugs could frequently get in, but overall the rooms are ok. Birdbath in the backyard is somewhat annoying when driving in that area to park car. Air vent at the kitchen needs to be pulled out to function, very hard to figure out without someone else to explain. Internet speed is decent, limited data could be annoying sometimes.
