Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The home is set up for simple, stress‑free living. Please note there is no dining table, but the courtyard includes outdoor furniture, giving you a relaxed spot to sit outside while your furry friend enjoys the secure, fully fenced, space. A covered carport (small-medium cars) parking makes arrival easy. The location is a standout — you’re only 1–5 minutes’ walk from the supermarket and the foreshore for waterfront strolls or morning coffee. Built around a sheltered harbour, Picton’s seafront is lined with cafés, restaurants, and art galleries. Local operators offer cruises, fishing charters, dolphin watching, sea kayaking, and mountain biking. Whether you're here to explore the Marlborough Sounds or just unwind by the water, Picton Central is the perfect launchpad for your next adventure.

Please be aware there is no dining table, but the courtyard includes outdoor furniture.

We love hosting well-behaved pets! To keep the home comfortable for everyone, we kindly ask that furry friends stay off the furniture and out of the bedrooms. Please ensure your pet is clean, under control, and respectful of the space - just like any good guest.

When furry friends exit through the front of the house, they need to be wearing their leads to respect the shared space and the neighbour’s cat.

About the location

The picturesque town of Picton is the main landing point for ferries crossing the Cook Strait, and a great starting point for exploring the Marlborough Sounds. You'll find a great stretch of shops and cafes along the waterfront and a sheltered harbour with grand views. Activities are endless from this point, with dolphin tours, the Queen Charlotte track, kayaking, swimming and hiking being a few.
