Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Perched high above Leigh, Skyline Lodge is a peaceful nature retreat offering breathtaking panoramic views. Overlooking Pakiri Beach, Little Barrier Island, and Leigh Bay on one side, and Omaha Beach and the estuary on the other, this comfortable holiday home provides the perfect blend of stunning scenery and relaxation. Whether you’re seeking a weekend escape or accommodation while attending a wedding at Vanderosa Farms, Skyline Lodge is an ideal destination. Set on 1.9 hectares of rural land and native bush, this is a true nature getaway surrounded by farmland and bush. As with any countryside property, you’ll experience the authentic elements of rural living- and if you’re lucky, you may even hear kiwi calling at night. The master bedroom features a king bed, private ensuite, and direct access to a deck with stunning ocean views. An additional double bed is located on the mezzanine level of the master bedroom, providing extra sleeping space. Two additional queen bedrooms are located in the guest wing and share a full bathroom, making the home well suited for families or groups. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals, and the onsite laundry, complete with a washer and dryer, adds convenience for longer stays. At the heart of the home is an open-plan living area that connects the kitchen, dining, and lounge spaces, perfect for relaxed gatherings. For larger groups, please note the dining table comfortably seats six, with an additional temporary table and seating available in storage. A cosy fireplace provides warmth on cooler evenings, while large sliding doors open onto an expansive deck where you can unwind and take in the spectacular Pacific Ocean views. The property is framed by majestic native trees and pines to the west and enjoys views toward Mount Tamahunga in Matakana. Just a short drive to Leigh Village, you’ll find a pub, eateries, a dairy, playground, and boat launch. The home is also conveniently located directly opposite Vanderosa Farms, making it ideal for wedding guests. Adventure awaits with the Schollum to Rodney bush walk just down the road, along with other scenic trails, including sections of the Aotearoa Trail. Beach lovers can enjoy walks along Pakiri Beach, snorkelling at Goat Island Marine Reserve, and classic fish and chips from Leigh Eats. With free Wi-Fi, a TV with streaming services, outdoor furniture for alfresco dining, and ample parking, Skyline Lodge offers a comfortable coastal retreat for those seeking natural beauty and tranquillity.

Skyline is in a relatively remote location. The closest dairy is a 14-minute drive, and the nearest supermarket is 38 minutes away. We strongly recommend doing your shopping before arrival. This is a holiday home nestled in nature, perfect for guests who appreciate an authentic nature experience.

About the location

Leigh lies to the west of Omaha, comprising of a small coastal town with a great beach. Here you'll find many classic kiwi holiday homes with stunning views to suit. Leigh is close to many iconic New Zealand must do's such as snorkeling at Goats Island Marine Reserve, horse riding on Pakiri Beach or sauntering across to Omaha or Matakana to park up at a vineyard.     “I stayed here along with my groomsmen the night before my wedding, the view and scenery was absolutely amazing, and it was peaceful quite.”

    There was plenty of storage for clothes food, drinks etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay there with family or friends.
