Just 10 minutes from Warkworth and an hour from Auckland, Sandspit is a picturesque harbour side town. It's the water lover's dream, with fishing, kayaking and boating being some of the top activities of the area. From Sandspit harbour it's a short ferry ride to Kawau Island, where there's numerous walking tracks, native wildlife and undisturbed views to be seen.
