    “Beautiful home in a quiet spot close to the lake.”

    My friends (plus their dog) and I had a perfect weekend stay and the cottage exceeded our expectations. There are lots of scenic walks to do around the lake and we caught a couple nice trout. I would be more than happy to return.

Upon entering, you'll be welcomed by a tastefully decorated interior radiating warmth and charm. A log burner ensures exceptional warmth during winter, creating a cozy atmosphere for relaxation on the comfortable sofas. The central hub comprises the open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area, equipped with modern amenities, including a smart TV and free wifi. Entertainment options abound, with a DVD player, books, and board games. Two well-appointed bathrooms, including an ensuite for the master bedroom, ensure a perfect private retreat. Terrace Downs Resort, a short 15-minute drive away, offers a world-class golfing experience, complemented by a restaurant, cafe, and bar open to the public. Lake Coleridge Village, a remote rural town, lacks public transport, but everything is easily accessible by walk or drive. From the village it is a short walk to Power Station, Rakaia River, a children's playground and tennis courts. Off roading, hunting and fishing all close by, as well as lots of walking options, including woodland walks in arboretum. The nearest supermarkets are in Darfield or Methven, both a 45-minute drive from the village.
