Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Sleeping up to 8 guests, Snowcano Cottage has plenty of room for the whole group or family to spread out. Then bring everyone together in the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area for shared delicious holiday meals. Keep everyone entertained with a selection of books, boardgames, Jigsaws and DVDs at the end of a busy day adventuring. Set in relaxing rural surroundings, only a 5-minute drive away from the Ohakune Mountain Road, you'll be at the ski field car park in just 25 minutes. When you're not up the mountain enjoying the snow, try your hand at a horse trek with Ruapehu Homestead Horse Treks located just around the corner. Ohakune's cafes, bars and local shops are also close by when you need supplies or don't feel like cooking. Whether you are after relaxation or adventure, come and stay at Snowcano Cottage!

About the location

Situated at the south end of Tangatau State Forest and Tongariro National park, this town sits next to the south-western side of Mt Ruapehu. Only a short 5 minutes drive to Ohakune, this is a perfect spot to base yourself for some winter skiing or snowboarding. Also open in summer it's a great base to check out the many mountain bike trails
