    “There was no hot water when we arrived as all 3 gas bottles were empty.”

Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Beautifully presented and drenched in natural light, this charming new build features open-plan living, kept at just the right temperature thanks to an efficient heat pump. You’ll find all the essentials for a comfortable stay here at Bluebird Day, including a laundry and fully equipped kitchen, as well as a few welcome extras. Settle in for a night in front of the Smart TV with Freeview, set the kids up with the great selection of toys and games, or pop your favourite tunes on the stereo and put your feet up. If you’re here on a summer adventure, open up the ranch slider and take your living out onto the deck. The kids will love running around on the flat lawn, while you enjoy a drink in the sunshine. Bluebird Day comfortably sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms. The master features a queen size bed and has its own access to the family bathroom, while the other two rooms feature a queen bed or a set of bunks. This really is a versatile holiday home for almost any group! Tucked back from the main highway, Bluebird Day is a tranquil spot to holiday in National Park, while still being in a prime position to walk to everything the bustling wee adventure town has to offer. To grab a bite to eat out, you’ll be just five minutes walk from The Station Cafe in one direction and eight minutes from Schnapps Bar in the other. And to top up on supplies, the local Four Square is a two minute drive up the road. Bluebird Day is just a 25-minute drive from the slopes of Whakapapa, and 15 minutes from the Mangatepopo Road starting point of the world famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing. There are also some fantastic shorter hikes and cycle trails in the park, so make sure you bring your bikes and boots! For a National Park escape that will have you coming back for more, Bluebird Day awaits!
