Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Escape to the tranquil beauty of Goose Bay, just 20 minutes south of Kaikoura, and check in to this bright and cosy holiday home. Located up a long driveway and enjoying an elevated position, you’ll feel your worries blow away with the sea breeze as soon as you arrive. An open-plan living and dining space is filled with light right up to its vaulted ceilings thanks to large picture windows and a sliding glass door. Cosy enough to be kept at just the right temperature by opening the windows or lighting the log burner, yet spacious enough for everyone to have a little corner of their own, this house is perfect year-round. There’s outdoor living on two sides of this lovely little home, meaning you can enjoy your freshly made Nespresso coffee in the sun, shade, or shelter any time of day! The kids will love lounging on the lawn bean bags in between trips to the beach. Come evening, a well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare delicious holiday meals. Why not take the provided fishing rods for a workout down at the shore and catch a fresh fish for the BBQ! Once the day has wrapped up, use the complimentary WIFI to log in to your Netflix account on the Smart TV and wind down with a movie night before hitting the hay. A bunk room is ideal for the kids, while the adults can enjoy a queen bed and balcony access. You’ll have no trouble finding an adventure to go on here at Seascape Retreat. It’s just a two-minute walk to the beach, where if you keep an eye out you’ll spot lazy seals basking in the sun, and it’s only a five-minute drive to the boat ramp where you can launch into a fishing and diving trip! Take a scenic drive along the coast for 20 minutes and you’ll find yourself in Kaikoura township, where there are loads of shops and eateries, as well as activity providers such as Whale Watch, Dolphin Encounter, and Seal Swim Kaikoura. About the location

Kaikoura is watched over by the majestic mountain ranges that stretch down towards the rugged east coast of the South Island. Kaikoura is most well known for its whale watching opportunities, which attract visitors from across the world. Tours depart Kaikoura to allow visitors the chance to catch glimpses of giant sperm whales, dolphins, fur seals, and the rare royal albatrosses. For those who are more adventurous, there are chances to don a wetsuit and swim with many of the wonderful creatures found on the Kaikoura Coastline. The annual Seafest, held the first weekend in October, is becoming increasingly popular, and attracts more visitors every year. For history buffs, Kaikoura offers the chance to learn about the early whaling and sealing days of the district, as well as Maori History, and a number of historic buildings. There are also a number of walks to explore, one which takes visitors past some spectacular limestone caves, and seal colonies.
