“We had a truly lovely stay.”
The cottage was very clean with an easy internal living flow. Good indoor to outdoor flow. The beds were super comfortable. The only aspect we missed was an outdoor BBQ facility. We always visit Hanmer when we holiday in South Island and we will make a concerted effort to book Fairway Cottage again.

Cushla “Loved our stay, such an exceptional property.”
So comfortable, quiet and private and so inviting. Love the Garden and the Heating/Cooling and Kitchen is amazing and well equipped. The beds are so comfy and we had such a restful sleep. Property is such an easy walk to town but far enough away from the bustle. One of the best places we have stayed at!

We went to Hanmer fete (a girlfriend and I) it was a dreadful day so getting into cottage and having the fire set ready to go it was so cosy very quickly.Very handy to village about 10 mins walk. Comfy beds and great outside sitting areas for morning and afternoon sun. We just loved our stay and will be back with our husbands. The cleaning fee is the only thing I felt was a little high at $221 added for our two nights stay. Sheryl

Handy to everything in the area. Spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Our only quibble - for Bachcare rather than the owners - was the high cost of cleaning, which was only added onto the booking at the very last screen. This added a considerable amount to the cost of a short stay (3 nights) and should have been advertised with the property, not at the very last screen in the booking process. It was also much a higher cleaning fee than other properties that we have booked in the past.

The agent had even lit the fire so the house was warm on arrival, such a welcoming treat and house felt fresh. We would definitely hire again.

Zimna “We loved our stay at the cottage.”
The house was warm, had plenty of things to keep us and kids occupied. Kids loved the games (and Netflix)! House was really clean, and had enough linen to last us the whole holiday and extra. It was close to all the places, and had a lovely, peaceful view of the golf course. The streets were really quiet and peaceful. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We were so delighted. The fire was toasty in the snowy weather. The kitchen was so well equipped. It is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished and lacks nothing. It is a wee slice of heaven in Hanmer Springs.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
