It was in a convenient location and having 2 bathrooms/ 3 toilets was great. Plenty of gas in the bbq for x2 dinners and x2 breakfasts. Was a little annoying that there wasnât information about the house, including wifi passwords, but nothing that a phone call to Bachcare didnât fix. Would definitely recommend backing up the driveway as visibility isnât great when backing out onto the road.

“Overall the experience with both batchcare and the house, was poor.”
On arrival we discovered the code for the lockbox that was supplied in multiple emails was incorrect. There was no information provided at all in relation to the house, what to do with rubbish and or recycling. There was not enough rubbish bags supplied for a stay of 3 nights with 4 people. We had to call to get the Wi-Fi password as this was not supplied. 2 out of 3 frying pans were of a standard you would expect to find in a mountain hut, and one of those had rust spots on it, it was so had it. We had to clean out 2 daddy long-legs from the upstairs shower before using it. The BBQ had barely enough gas, and if we wanted to use it on the Sunday, we would have had no gas. Overall for the cost, the standard was poor and I would not recommend the house, or batchcare to anyone!

Thank you for your feedback, Roger. We're sorry to hear you had issues accessing the property and that some of the amenities were not up to standard during your stay. For security purposes, we do change the lockbox details regularly. We will ensure the correct details are sent to guests moving forward. We do not refill the gas bottles after every guest stay, however if the current one does run out there is a spare one available at the property to switch out. A welcome booklet is available at the property which includes WiFi details and useful information about the property.
We will pass on the other issues you have raised to the property owner for consideration.
Bachcare
Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
