    “It was my first time, and for sure the last time I have booked something by bachcare.”

    It was the worst accommodation in my whole life. After we arrived in the house, everything was dirty. We had to wash the dishes alone, we washed the lines for sleeping. Chairs and table were broken. We sent message to bachcare: they answered us very fast, and they promised us compensation. After we left the house I wrote another 2 message to bachcare how is looks with the compensation, by they didn´t answer us any more. So my recommendation to everybody: never book something with bachcare. On ...

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

A huge front lawn welcomes you as you arrive, offering plenty of space to park the car and the boat. Then, step inside and make yourself at home in the cosy living room, complete with TV and heat pump to ensure you can make yourself comfortable whatever the occasion or the weather. A well-equipped, eat-in kitchen with plenty of fridge and freezer space makes self-catering your holiday a breeze, and when it’s time to top up on supplies the Cooks Beach General Store is a five-minute walk, or two-minute drive, away. Of course if you don’t feel like cooking, you could always grab some fish and chips from the local chippie, or a pizza from Go Vino or The Vessel, and tuck into them on your sheltered patio, or why not enjoy a family picnic at the beach! Two bedrooms here at Cosy at Cooks comfortably sleep up to six guests, with the master enjoying direct access to the patio. A bathroom with a separate toilet provides the conveniences for your stay. When it’s time to hit the beach, you’ll only need to walk 450m and you’ll be at the Banks Street Central Reserve, where with the right vehicle you can even launch the boat! If you’d prefer to use the local boat ramp, that’s less than five minutes drive away at the Purangi Regional Reserve. If summer walks are on the agenda, why not try out the tracks around Shakespeare Cliff and check out the simply stunning Lonely Bay while you’re at it. Or you walk to Ferry Landing and take the trip over to Whitianga to see what this bustling summer hot spot has to offer.
