The property
Boasting a spectacular coastal outlook unlike any other, and its very own boat mooring, you'll love nothing more than watching the world go by at this breathtaking coastal retreat. Welcome to Nelson's Lookout! Large picture windows and sliding glass doors ensure a seamless indoor-outdoor flow here at Nelson's Lookout. Picture yourself on a glorious summers' day perched on the deck with an ice-cold beverage in hand, while the kids play on the expansive lawn below. Now you’re on holiday! The light and bright kitchen and dining spaces offer the perfect spot to ease into your morning. From here, move into the contemporary living room, where vaulted ceilings complement the spacious feel and expansive views. For those days where a cosy moment on the couch is calling, get comfy in front of the TV with Sky, or put your feet up on the chaise lounge with a cuppa and a good book, and your favourite music playing on the stereo. Sleeping up to eight guests across four bedrooms, Nelson's Lookout offers two modern bathrooms and full laundry facilities for a comfortable family stay. If you're bringing the boat, you'll love the ample boat parking available here at Nelson's Lookout. When it comes time to head out for a day on the water, there's a jetty and boat ramp down the road and a boat mooring just off shore; no need to go all the way into town! You'll also have access to the private beach in front of the house; a great way for quick passenger access if you need it. Make your way into Russell’s town centre to wander the wonderful waterfront and stop into the charming shops and delicious eateries. Some must-trys include the popular Duke of Marlborough, The Gables Restaurant, and Hone’s Garden. For a fun-filled day trip on the water, take a tour to the Hole in the Rock, making sure you keep your eyes peeled for the local dolphin and whale pods on the way. Picturesque Bay of Islands views await at Nelson's Lookout, all it needs now is you!
As the property has unfenced access to the beach via a pathway, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.
Please note that one of the bathrooms, although conveniently located, is accessed externally.
Please be aware there are large number of stairs in and around this property. It may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
The advertised boat mooring at this property can hold at maximum an 11 metre long boat with a weight of 2 tonnes and is only available for use upon request. For more information on using this feature, please contact us.
Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. One of our team members will contact you if this is required for your booking.

Carol-ann “Stunning views and living areas.”
Bathrooms inadequate for this size home and a low point in this home, Dangerous to have no railing on the stairs from front door/ bedrooms. Insect window covers on opening windows would have improved experience as we got eaten alive 1st night so had to go to town to buy plug ins to control the mosquitos. House dated but again views were a highlight.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the stunning views and living areas. We appreciate your comments on the bathrooms, stair railing, and insect window covers. Guest comfort and safety are our priorities, and we’ve shared these concerns with the owner for potential improvements. While the home has a more dated style, we strive to maintain its charm while enhancing the guest experience. Your insights are invaluable, and we hope to welcome you again in the future. Bachcare
