Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The property

Set on a large, absolute beachfront section at Tokerau Beach on the remote Karikari Peninsula, Native's Nest is a family-friendly holiday home made for relaxed days by the ocean. Bright and breezy open-plan living connects seamlessly to the outdoors, with sliding glass doors creating easy indoor-outdoor flow. The expansive lawn offers plenty of space for kids to run around, with room to park boats, pitch tents, or bring along the jet ski or motorbikes. Wake up to brilliant sunrises and wind down with golden sunsets—right on your doorstep. Soak up the sun with your favourite holiday drink in hand, or unwind in the shade while the ocean breeze keeps things cool. Spend your days swimming, fishing, or exploring the beach, then stroll back for a BBQ lunch or a rest in the covered outdoor area. If the weather turns, there’s ample space inside to gather. The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to whip up snacks or a family meal, and the lounge offers a cosy spot to relax. A TV with Freeview channels and a selection of board games provide low-key entertainment. With no Wi-Fi, your stay is a chance to truly disconnect and embrace a slower pace. There’s over 7 metres of space to park the boat, and an accessible boat ramp just down the road on Tokerau Beach Road. The Bayview Store is three minutes away, and a fishing and tackle shop—complete with a boat wash-down bay—is only two minutes up the road. You’re also a short drive from stunning Maitai Bay (10 minutes), Carrington Golf Club, and the Karikari Estate Winery and Restaurant (5 minutes). About the location

Known for its rugged coastlines, long white sandy stretches such as 90 Mile Beach, the lofty Te Paki sand dunes perfect for some wild boogie board surfing, as well as the picture perfect Bay of Islands. Many of New Zealand's 'must do's' are found within this area like visiting the most northern point of New Zealand at Cape Reinga and checking out the iconic light-house, swimming with the dolphins in Paihia, or taking a short ferry trip to Russell for a dose of history.
