“Alo of what may seem as small details add up to what feels like a rather mediocre bach.”

When one considers the exorbitant price we pay for such a place here in QT, one would expect higher quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I'll try to list as many as i ca remember: --Trash bins were full to brim when I arrived and no one came to move them out to the street on trash day, so I was left with nowhere to put trash. I would have gladly performed the courtesy to take them out if you had let me know how and when to do it. But they really shaould have been empty or at least ...

But they really shaould have been empty or at least emptied on trash day. --There were no additional trash bags in the house. --No broom that I could use to pick up a spill (a bottle of parsley) in the kitchen. --The plants around the outside need much deferred maintenance. There are many dead and dying plants, ugly broken fallen branches need to be cleaned up. weeds growing out of cracks in the walls. --The steps in the back to the garden are broken (and clearly been broken for what looks like years) and represents a safety hazard. --Potted plants could use some trimming of dead leaves. -- Empty pots of dirt and stones where plants used to adorn, now just signs of neglect. --There was grime, mold and old hair in the corners of the bathroom showers. A bit unsightly, kinda gross wouldn’t you say? --The refrigerator needed a good cleaning and scrubbing out before i could use it, as there was grime and crumbs and spilled liquids in the corners and on the shelves. --There was no dishwashing liquid I could use to wash dishes. I looked high and low and finally found some in a large refill bottle tucked way back in the hallway closet. --Not enough toilet paper for the whole two weeks, I had to buy some myself, which would be fine if I was there for a month, but just for a week or two? Come on seriously?. --No face towels, and not enough bath towels for a two week stay. --One of the burners in the stove is out of order. And has been that way for quite some time according to the faded dirty "out of order" sticker . As a person who likes to cook that was inconvenient for me. Seriously guys, com'on. By the way. It was difficult finding the place because there is no address number or direction/arrow or indicator on the street to go up the driveway. And the house number, hidden from view if you're on the street, is painted black and unlit so when I was arriving at night, I couldn’t find it. I almost drove up to the wrong house, which would have embarrassed me and disturbed the neighbors. I had to park on the street and walk around until I finally found the house. I'm wondering if the neighbors were wondering why some strange guy was walking around peeking into driveways. These are very basic kinds of things that one would assume wouldn't go unattended to by such a reputable service. I was disappointed felt I over paid.
