Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Set over a single level, Alpine Escape comfortably accommodates up to four adults and two children across three well-appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom features a luxurious king bed with a firm Sleepyhead mattress and a private ensuite for added comfort. The second bedroom offers a spacious super king bed, also with a firm Sleepyhead mattress, while the third bedroom includes a bunk bed ideal for kids. A second full bathroom with a toilet provides added convenience for families or small groups. The open-plan living area is bright and welcoming, with beautiful mountain views, comfortable furnishings, and a warm ambience - perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. A fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals, and the dining space flows seamlessly into the cozy lounge. Step out onto the sunny deck to enjoy the fresh alpine air, fire up the charcoal BBQ, or simply relax with a drink and soak up the scenery. Just a 4-minute drive from the centre of Ohakune, you’ll find local cafes, shops, and equipment rentals within easy reach. In winter, hit the slopes at Turoa Ski Field just 20 minutes away or head to Whakapapa in about 40 minutes. In warmer months, explore the stunning Old Coach Road cycle trail, walk through Tongariro National Park, or enjoy a scenic rail journey.     The home was exceptionally clean, well-styled, and very comfortable. The mountain views created a stunning backdrop, and the sauna was a wonderful addition that made our stay even more relaxing. The cozy atmosphere made it easy to unwind, and the location was ideal for accessing the mountain. We would highly recommend this property and would be delighted to stay again.
