The classic A-frame has been thoughtfully refreshed with new appliances, a dedicated breakfast station and a warm open plan living area that invites you to unwind after a day on the mountain. Large windows look out to lush native greenery, creating a peaceful and private setting while still being only a short walk to Ohakune town and the local supermarket. Perfectly located for year-round adventure, the chalet is just minutes from Turoa Ski Field on Mt Ruapehu, the world famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing, and the scenic Old Coach Road cycle trail. After a day exploring the Central Plateau, return to the chalet to relax on the deck, listen to the nearby stream, and enjoy the quiet alpine surroundings. Sleeping arrangements include one master bedroom and a second sleeping area with two king single beds, making the chalet ideal for couples, families, or small groups. Two off street parks provide easy access, and the shed offers convenient storage for bikes, skis, or drying winter gear. A warm, comfortable base to experience the best of Ohakune and Mt Ruapehu in every season.
