    “Good property - large living areas which is great for a family group, close to the lake and great having the jetty very close to the property.”

    Walking distance to the store for coffee is great. Only negative was the top bunk in the small bedroom is very difficult to access even for a fit and agile teenager as the ladder is against the wall and the mattress was really not suitable for the bed - it was smaller than the frame which is not ideal.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The property

Open up the doors for seamless summer indoor-outdoor flow, or spark up the wood burning fireplace on a winter getaway and watch a movie on the Smart TV. An open-plan kitchen-dining area is the ideal spot to share a meal. And with all the modern conveniences of home, including a dishwasher, coffee machine, and toasted sandwich maker, you’ll settle right in. A high chair means your smallest family members are taken care of too. Three bedrooms comfortably sleep up to eight guests here at Casita, while a generous sized bathroom provides enough conveniences for everyone. There’s also a washing machine in there for those longer stays. In the summer we think you’ll spend most of your time enjoying the outdoor spaces at Casita. Relax on the patio that stretches the length of the property, and dine alfresco on a feast prepared on the wood-fired BBQ. Wander down to the waterfront to enjoy your morning coffee looking out over the lake. If you have a kayak or two at home, why not bring them along and go for a paddle! At Casita, you’re in a great spot just a five minutes walk away from the Okere Falls store, famous in the area as a great place for a barista coffee and a wholesome bite to eat. Explore the trails in the area on foot, book yourself onto a rafting adventure, or take the boat across the lake to the Lake Rotoiti Hot Pools. Just the right balance of tranquility and adventure await, here at Casita.

As the property has direct access to the lake, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.

This property lies approximately 50m from a cemetery, which can be seen from some parts of the property. For an indication of the view and placement of the cemetery, please see the photo fourth from last.
