Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Relax on the expansive sun-drenched deck or enjoy the perfect all year-round temperature thanks to the heat pump or light a cozy fire inside. Inside, lounge in front of the TV with Freeview with an option to bring your SKY card or use the WIFI. Sandy Retreat is a home away from home. Visit the nearby Surf shack (five-minute walk) for breakfast, coffee or brunch. After a day on the beach, grab dinner-to-go at Island View Fish and Chips to enjoy on deck or on the beach just four minutes away. Days are best spent soaking up the sun, going for bike rides and swimming in the ocean waves at Waihi Beach. Back at home, rinse off under the hot and cold water outdoor shower, sit down for an early evening, alfresco meal prepared on the BBQ, before walking to the nearby dairy to get an ice cream for dessert. Sandy Retreat comfortably sleeps a maximum of six adult guests (or four adults and four children) across three well-appointed bedrooms, kitted out with two queen beds and two bunk beds. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan for maximum comfort. Two generous bathrooms and full laundry facilities complete the set-up for your villa holiday. Coastal and convenient, this home sits on a small section with no garage, but there is off-street parking in front for a maximum of two vehicles, and bike storage is available under the house. Your holiday home sits in the middle of one of New Zealandâs best beaches, with Waihi beach township to the north and Athenree to the south, each a five-minute drive. Enjoy the local fare before you head out for adventures. Either as a base to explore the Bay of Plenty or just relax at Waihi beach, Sandy Retreat is not to be missed!
