Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The property

Modern, waterfront views at Opoutere Oasis! Escape for a bit of peace and quiet in beautiful Opoutere in the Coromandel. This open plan, family style bach allows for views of the glistening water and also great for gathering the whole family for a getaway. Enjoy the spacious yard space and expansive deck that overlooks the estuary. It allows for the whole family to come stay with plenty of beds and 4 bathrooms. There is a BBQ available to use and the open space allows for excellent indoor or outdoor living. Dinner alfresco in the warm summer evening - what more could you need. This bach is located down a private drive which allows you and your family to feel tucked away and enjoy this beautiful space. The kitchen and living area provide great views of the waterfront so the views can be enjoyed no matter the weather! Enjoy a cheeky drink in the sun with the outdoor table whilst firing up the BBQ. Or enjoy your time with the family inside with the fire going and preparing a delicious roast. Just a drive away to escape the hustle and bustle, Opoutere Oasis creates an incredible backdrop to your stay!

All guests should take care when using the exterior stairs as they do not have a handrail to prevent potential slips, trips or falls.

The fourth bathroom is in the separate sleep-out. Please note beds in sleep out are not available for guest use.

easy instructions to access property and has everything you need! only thing that could of been better was some parts of rooms were very dusty thick layer by bunk beds in main house and so many cobwebs but was easy enough for us to give it a quick clean. Thanks for having us was a blast!

Perfect kiwi holiday, fitted our large family with plenty of space & bathrooms, including a well used outdoor shower, was a bonus that we could bring our dog with us too, will definitely book another holiday here, but for longer, only one down point the washing machine wouldn’t drain

“This was a fantastic holiday home.”

...perfect for two families! The setting was lovely and the house itself was modern, clean and well-maintained. The floor plan was great as having 2 ensuites, a main bathroom plus an outside shower made it super convenient for everyone. The location was perfect as we could easily explore the greater Coromandel area or stay local and kayak in the estuary across the road. The cherry on the top was being able to bring our family dog. We would definitely recommend this holiday home to others!

“My family and friends are spent time in this property on christmas for 2 nights, we are so amazed the house is nice and clean, its good location, the lake in front of the house is exceptional view, the house provided kayak, we having so much fun.”

We definetly be back and stay again in this property with my family and friends, Opoutere beach is just few minutes away and 15 minutes drive to whangamata. I already told all my friends and work mates if ever they plan going for holiday in Opoutere better stay and book in Opoutere oases. This place is highly recomended.

“Awesome bach with a very well equipped kitchen that had all the essentials including a great selection of herbs, spices, stock, oil and vinegar.”

The shower had fantastic water pressure too. Our stay was in winter and there was lots of firewood to build a nightly fire. Fabulous location to take our dog. Although it is fully fenced, the fencing at the front has gaps big enough for dogs to be able to get out and onto the road. We used a very long line to tether ours so he could noodle around the back yard but not get into to trouble. Wifi is sporadic so it can't be used for remote working, but good enough to access websites. Mobile reception is almost non-existent so it's a fantastic place to go offline and be demob happy! We thoroughly recommend this bach for a peaceful break.

“This is a wonderful spot and an amazing place to stay.”

We were 2 couples, so having 2 double bedrooms each with its own ensuite was an excellent arrangement. The 2 bunkrooms and 2 other bathrooms would obviously provide great facilities for larger groups. It would have been nice to have some clear instructions about the appliances. However, we all had a wonderful time and would certainly consider a repeat stay some time.

The only thing was the kitchen wasn't particularly clean and we couldn't use one of the showers because it didn't drain. But apart from that the house was great and in a lovely location. The instructions were clear and we had a fabulous weekend.

“Nice place for our family of 10 to holiday together.”

Lots of bathrooms. And great to be able to have our dogs with us. The property is fenced and safe for the dogs. It was wet & cold the day we arrived so we lit the fire which warmed the house up nicely. We had a nice relaxing time there.

“House lovely , outside room lovely.”

. No bbq , no fish smoker , both were completely unusable . Bbq is totally rusted and was not in any way able to be used and the smoker was filthy and covered in mould . We took a trout to smoke but couldn’t do that ! My bedroom with the queen was comfortable and yes the showers were terrific we wanted a house with bathrooms . Location is good snd views were stunning . We did light the fire and that was great .

“"Fair" at best.”

Needs a good cleaning. Everything is somewhat cluttered and disorganized. Firewood needed to be chopped. Electronics were a challenge and all needed re-bootting, etc. Pictures are dated and furniture is worn out. Entry instructions were wrong. Most importantly, we were greeted by cockroaches. All this was reported. We should have be refunded. Not worth the money spent.

People definitely need to be made aware of poor wifi / internet connection - moreso for personal / business requirements in these times. Very comfortable - lovely fire and location. Nice and quiet - easy for 5 day stay - great to be able to have our family dog with us.
