The managed service provider for the property informs us that these were most definitely recycling bins, which were located downstairs. We do however appreciate your feedback around the dishes, and will be looping back with the Managed Services team to make sure the property is up to scratch for future bookings.

The general space around the place meant no-one was under each other. The family had a blast! Awesome place we would recommend

All appliances and facilities were of high quality. Close to the town center and just opposite a walk track. Couldn't use the outdoor area because of rains. But the fireplace kept is warm and cozy. A few areas of improvement, access to the house is not friendly for seniors or mobility impaired. A number of steps to climb to the house and even in the house had a long flight of steps to go to the living area. (This should be mentioned in description). Hard work with bags and linen or firewood. Grass was rain soaked and paver path not aligned to the gate. (Not sure of the 'garage' as can't be accessed by a vehicle). Hard to get the shower in bathroom 1 to a stable temperature- not too hot or too cold. Also needs a block out blind as the current one is a bit see through! Ensuite shower too needs to be fixed so it doesn't keep falling when angled downward. Access code to house given was incorrect and had to call Bachcare to rectify. Thanks for the welcome wine. Would be great to experience Raglan during summer.

Well setup to entertain the children and very well suited for a holiday with friends. The estuary access on this road is only usable at the peak of high tide. The only fault was with the manager not reading the instructions as to which beds we wanted made. And not seeing that we had paid for linen for three people. No sheets or towels were waiting for us however they were very prompt in rectifying this once we phoned them. There were also no rubbish collection bags or bins to dispose of our rubbish so we left a bag there. We will definitely stay again.

However this time the general cleanliness had taken a major dive, dishes and surfaces not washed/damaged and utensils missing. Still a lovely venue but you can't keep increasing the price and then not taking care of the place, we've already booked elsewhere for next time.

The house was very welcoming and comfortable. We couldn't enjoy the deck at all because of the rain ( crazy unusual wet weather for this time of year tho) and as it's such a lovely extension of the living area it would be good to have a cover over it so it's rainproof but overall we loved our stay and look forward to coming back next year

Fab layout and lots of space for everyone. The house was well equipped, warm, quiet and modern. We would stay again! Just a couple of small gripes: no dishwasher tabs/powder and no instructions for rubbish/recycling.

The views are exceptional and we made use of the efficient fireplace on the first wild and rainy night. The BBQ and well furnished deck proved a great space for the sunny finale. What a truly exceptional home - we loved it!

The Smart TV, Bluetooth stereo, downstairs dart board kept everyone entertained. The kitchen was fully equipped to suit our every need. We loved how quiet and peaceful the property was and there is a great bush walk right across the road. Would 100% stay here again:)

For surf fanatics, Manu Bay is renowned to possess the longest, most consistent left hand break in the world. But Raglan itself is also a haven for paddleboarders, swimmers and kayakers. If staying on land is your preference, Bridal Veil Falls is a quick trip away, or for a more challenging adventure, you can climb to the top of Mount Karioi or explore the Te Toto Gorge Track.
