    “It was as expected, great location.”

    Close shops and Surf Bar end. The outdoor shower was excellent, as was the hose conveniently near front door. Beach towels a bonus. The monopoly/chess and other games provided also great to have. The kitchen was adquate but we couldnt find a cork screw, or proper kitchen knife. The section was a good size, it is fully fenced and the gate was good, however the lawns were long when we arrived and perhaps should be done between guests. A non-controllable is the construction going on at the rear ...

A non-controllable is the construction going on at the rear neighbors site. From 7-6pm every weekday 3-5 tradies were were onsite and from their elevated position we were in full view, every time we stepped out side. So it didnt feel private at all. Perhaps a decent hedge wouldn't go a miss. The Weber BBQ was brilliant and we used it a lot, however when we arrived however the cover was off to one side and I had to scrape a takeway container of fat and congeled food from the grill and inside + what was already in the collecting tray before our first use (it looks as though the cleaners forgot to clean the BBQ). .Overall it was good however. Unfortunately Whangamata is getting very pricey so is hard justify before returning at current price levels.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

As there is a section of the deck without a barrier with a small drop on to grass, all guests should take care when using this area due to the risk of falls.

Whangamata is a favourite holiday destination in the Coromandel. It has one of the best surf breaks in the area, as well as having safe enough swimming for families. Behind the well-equipped town is a large forest park, with walking tracks and biking trails through lush native forest.
