    “We loved our stay at your Piha property.”

    It was great to arrive and think it looked even better than the photos online. One minor irritation was the proximity to the road. Though you can barley see the road from the house, the traffic noise travels and we were surprised at the number of hoons. Still, that view and the overall general cosiness of your home was wonderful. Thank you.

Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The property

Seaview, Sun & Surf is the perfect place for your Piha getaway. Enjoy all day sun and superior ocean views from our holiday home. This is a single-level property with flat paved access from the driveway. The house offers open plan living in the lounge, indoor dining and kitchen area, where you’ll have plenty of space to spend time with friends and family. If you’re in Piha to surf, you can check The Bar from your bed (literally), before you grab your board from the surfboard rack in the conservatory, and head to the beach. The Piha General Store and Lion Rock Surf Shop are 1 kilometre away, for great coffee, food, and surf/beachwear. Spend your time relaxing, swimming, and enjoying casual walks on the beach and around the village or, for the more adventurous, exploring trails and waterfalls in the Waitakere Ranges. At the end of the day you’ll be able to return ‘home’ for a barbeque, and the perfect photo opportunity of the sun setting into the Tasman sea beside the iconic Lion Rock. Please note that the no parties policy is strictly enforced at this property. Guests are kindly requested to keep voices and music low (especially outside) between 10pm and 8am so that the neighbours are not disturbed.

Please note the water is not suitable for drinking due to a high mineral content. Until North Piha Water Society resolve treatment of the water, bottled/boiled water should be used for drinking.

About the location

With it's intense black sand, wild surf and iconic landscape, Piha is one of Auckland's most popular west coast beaches. Kick back in the sun and watch the surfers tackle the waves or take a dip in the sea with the assurance that the local lifeguards are watching over you! Take a walk up Lion Rock and see the Maori carving or through the native bush on the Kitekite track and see the beautiful waterfalls. Piha is a spectacular holiday destination for those looking for adventure or simply a relaxing beach escape.
