    “The TV was on Wifi and would cease working around 5pm each night we were there which was frustrating.”

    Not a big enough issue to ruin the holiday but frustrating nonetheless. I rang your guest support team about the TV and when the dishwasher blocked and needed fixing and found them to be excellent, they were empathetic and responsive and a big help. The agents looking after the property, Jessie and Jeanie, called in twice during our stay - once to see how we were getting on and once to drop off new linen they were very friendly, and helpful and excellent to deal with and left a good ...

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The property

The Chocolate Box is set amongst lifestyle blocks and holiday homes, elevated and on a pretty tourist route via Mangawhai Heads and Langs Beach. Panoramic Pacific Ocean views include from the majestic Whangarei Heads to Taranga Island (Hen and Chickens) Sail Rock, Tops of the Mokohino Islands and Little Barrier Island and some days Great Barrier Island). The living-dining space has been carefully curated with stylish comfort in mind, while the designer kitchen is comprised of striking stone benchtops and high-end appliances. Tranquility and and privacy await in the master bedroom, which enjoys a super-king size bed, an exclusive ensuite and indoor-outdoor flow. Bedroom two provides a queen bed, while a second bathroom will ensure you are refreshed and rejuvenated throughout your stay. An additional living room adds to the convenience of the layout, and the wrap-around decking provides an abundance of outdoor living space. From here, you can relish in views of the surrounding landscape and ocean while comfortably dining al fresco and taking in the breathtaking scenery. An outdoor bath for two enjoys sea and dotted horizon views by day and the stars by night. With ample parking space in the double garage and a charming timber boardwalk guiding you to the front door through a serene natural setting, this peaceful spot is located at the end of a private road. The estuary is just 500 metres away with rare Fairy Tern birds. You'll find yourself conveniently situated between Waipu township and Waipu Cove. A two to three-minute drive will take you to local amenities, pharmacy, wine shop, 4square and vintage shops, Pizza Barn and Cafes in Waipu Village, while the white sands of surf beach Waipu Cove is now open with a cycle track that follows a spectacular coastline past your Cove Rd entrance.
