However when the second bedroom did not have the bed made up I went in search of sheets only to discover the ones in the second bedroom were in a drawer that must have mold in it & sheets have mold as they were HORRIBLY stinky. The smell lingered on my hand after I took out a pillow case. You should throw those out along with that small dresser. Thankfully we found clean sheets elsewhere. Your patio is exceptional. We spent most out time outside. If I was you I would also not advertise it ...

Tancy “Gorgeous traditional Kiwi Bach.”
Located right on the beach, providing you with the sound of waves and stunning sea views, this Bach is perfectly positioned with a lovely short walk to Russell township as well. Bach has essentially everything you need, cupboards and drawers are a wee bit cluttered and in true Kiwi style, remember your mosquito repellent! Well set up for pooches with the gate at top of the stairs a fab addition and grateful to be able to bring our dog. Really enjoyed Pembroke Cottage and hope to return.

It's alot smaller than it looks online (not sure about 7 people tho) but it was perfect for hubby and me, waking up and going to sleep with the sound of the water was awesome, great place to go and recharge, will definitely be back â€ïž

Overall cleanliness in kitchen and bathroom absolutely great however floor around table in lounge where white resin chairs stacked was very sticky and clearly had not been cleaned. Bunk room had a terrible smell which we discovered after heavy rain one of the nights turns out the ceiling is leaking quite badly and floor was very wet.

We had such a nice few days here. For those with toddlers or dogs please be aware there is now plastic fencing along the deck and a gate at the top of the stairs. I don't think this was obvious from the photos on the listing. A perfect spot. The waves lull you to sleep.

We loved watching the ever changing landscape at the beach, close to everything but far enough away for a nice quiet family holiday. Our dog loved having the beach to play on and the beach was beautiful and unspoilt, we will be back!

A short walk or drive into Russell to get the coffee fixed or catch the ferry to Paihia. Excellent location. Bach simply furnished but well-equipped.

Great place to relax and unwind. The sound of the waves at night was the highlight for me personally, although the awesome sunrise in the morning was a close second. :)

Ocean front view from Bach with porch. Plenty of sports equipment Ie. Boogie boards kayak and boats available. Children and adults had a great time. Very short distance in car from town for cafes, daily excursions, food, gifts, shops, etc.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
Uninterrupted ocean views and just a stone's throw to the Beach - Pencarrow Cottage is an ideal escape to the Far North. This Russell holiday home offers bright and cosy open plan living, flowing out onto the decking overlooking Oneroa Bay (Long Beach). The newly renovated kitchen has all the essentials needed for a relaxed, easy break away. With two bedrooms, and a sofa bed in the lounge there is enough space to fit the family. Throw the deck chairs out on the lawn and soak up the sun before taking a dip at the beach across the road, no more than 20m away! Russell wharf is less than a 5min drive away and is the pick up point for the many adventures out on the water. How you want to explore the islands is just a matter of choosing. Speed off into the distance on a trip to the famous Hole in the Rock, take it easy on a sailing trip , join a dolphin swimming cruise or even catch a fish. At the end of the day take a stroll along the beach after a good meal and watch the sun go down or just unwind on the veranda with a glass of wine. Let the stress melt away at Pencarrow Cottage!
