    “The water wasn’t turned on upon our arrival.”

    Some phone calls rectified this but the switch wasn’t accessible without further instructions. Luckily the cleaning lady called us back to advise within the hour. As the power was off the oven didn’t work and we had no way of knowing a reset procedure, until a couple of days later and asking a neighbour. There were cobwebs around the walls particularly in the bedrooms and under the beds. A disconcerting find under a bed was a large framed “glamour shot” of presumably the owner. Not ...

Not quite what one would expect. I have no further comment on that. BBQ non functioning and no gas bottle anyway. No internet, but we should have checked prior to booking with hindsight. The house is in a good location and comfortable in general. We appreciated being able to take our dog aswell.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Cathedral Cove, Hahei and Hot Water Beach are all within a 20 minute drive from your door, and all have beautiful scenic views. For sun, sand and scenery, holiday at Nest by the Beach!
