Plenty of space and everything that you need for a great holiday. We are disappointed that this property has since reduced the occupancy from 10 people to 6 people as it was ideal for 2 families. Unlikely that we will be able to stay here again because of this.

The house was spacious and the upstairs living area and deck was a lovely family space. We would hesitate to return to this bach however, mostly due to its general state of uncleanliness. We found mould on the toilet seat upstairs, a quantity of mould on the window frames, particularly downstairs and the windows generally were very dirty. We also found shards of broken glass on top of the stack of bedding in the large downstairs room and on the entranceway floor. The duvet and blanket in the smaller downstairs room were not clean, this room was very uncomfortably small and cold. At times, particularly when the sun came round in the afternoon, it smelled pungently of fish. The stove dials were impossible to read and made cooking difficult. There seemed to be no working power points downstairs. One four-fin oil heater was insufficient to heat a two-story house. We would appreciate this feedback being passed on to the bach owner as this could be a very pleasant bach to stay in if it were thoroughly cleaned and a few issues were adressed. Thank you.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property

This 2 storey Cooks Beach bach includes homely and relaxed open plan living upstairs, with ample room to put your feet up and easy access to the decking for cruisy summer living. The sheltered deck is an excellent spot to sit back and watch the world go by, catch some sea views, or fire up the BBQ while the kids burn off some energy on the spacious, flat lawn. Upstairs at this Cooks Beach accommodation are the first three bedrooms, downstairs are the last two bedrooms and to complete your holiday home set up, there is a full bathroom upstairs plus a shower room and separate toilet downstairs. An easy option just a stone throw from the water's edge for your group to chill out and enjoy some much needed R&R with sweet sea views, or stroll over to the waters edge for family picnics and days at the beach.
