The property
Perched among the treetops with views across Hahei Village and Mercury Bay, Treetop Bach is a classic 1970s Kiwi holiday home offering a relaxed and peaceful base for your Coromandel getaway. Set across two levels, the upper floor features open-plan living and dining that opens onto a sunny deck where you can unwind and take in the elevated outlook. A compact, original-style kitchen provides the essentials for a comfortable stay, while the master bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom is also located on this level. Accessed via external stairs, the lower level is home to two bedrooms, each with two single beds, along with a modern bathroom. This layout is particularly well suited to families with older children who can enjoy their own space downstairs. Surrounded by native bush, Treetop Bach enjoys a private and tranquil setting with all-day sun. The beach, local cafés, and village shops are all within easy walking distance, making it easy to leave the car behind and embrace the laid-back Hahei lifestyle. Retaining much of its original charm, this traditional bach offers comfort, character, and a genuine slice of classic Kiwi holiday living. Whether you're spending your days at Hahei Beach, exploring Cathedral Cove, or simply relaxing amongst the trees, Treetop Bach is an ideal base for your next Coromandel escape.
Please note that access to the property is via a shared right of way. Parking is limited to two vehicles, and parking is not permitted on the driveway leading to the property.
Please note that the two downstairs bedrooms are accessed via external stairs and cannot be reached from inside the house.

Kylie “In all honesty we loved our stay so much that we didn’t want to leave.”
Everything that we needed was there. We were a bit sceptical at first as we took our 3 year old with us, and he is full of so much energy likes to adventure and climb. But he loved it just as much as we did.. I would highly recommend treetop bach to anyone who is looking for something that has space and awesome views! Nga Mihi very satisfied customers
