Very comfortable and well laid out. Amazing view and easy access to beach via two walkways off Tutaritari Rd. No problems with booking - very easy process.

Needn’t have worried as the bathroom is quite neatly separated with toilet and shower each behind their own doors, and there is also another toilet too. Might be good to update the property listing to mention this! Would be useful to have more than one key available to guests. Ranch sliders (upstairs and down) use the same key, and cannot be locked/unlocked from inside without the key. When we split up to do different activities we had to decide who would have the key or where to hide it. Perhaps provide guests with another key and/or the code to the key safe? The Bach is well equipped and in a stunning location (great views, easy access to beach and village), but hills and stairs may mean it’s unsuitable for some guests. Internal and external stairs at the property would need extra care for guests with little kids. But for our family it was perfect - great upstairs/downstairs arrangement for our blended family. Would thoroughly recommend and I’d love to come back sometime! Many thanks for allowing us to share your special place.

It was well set up for two sharing families. The stairs outside and inside were a bit hazardous for little kids and I would recommend taking two baby gates for piece of mind. Unfortunately there was a problem with the septic system and the smell was most unpleasant most of the stay. The house had not been cleaned well (if at all) before our arrival. Due to septic and cleaning we wouldn’t stay here again which is a shame as the house is otherwise great.

Bachcare as a service provider has gone backwards significantly over a very short period of time. Their communication is abysmal. Impossible to get issues acknowledged let alone resolved. Making the local property managers redundant last year was very short sighted and the service gap has not been resolved which has led to a significant decline in the professionalism of Bachcare as a whole.. will definitely be looking at other providers for our next holiday

Lovely and warm on a very wintery week-end. Just note there is limited parking space on a very narrow road - fine if you have only one larger car or 2 smaller

Although location great, bathroom old, house not clean when we arrived, access difficult with steep stairs, furniture old, we could hear something crawling in roof cavity, maybe possum. Also driveway kind of shared with neighbouring property who were doing renovations so needed to more our car which was inconvenient.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Downstairs, bedroom 3 also has a queen bed, while bedroom 4 includes two single beds - this an easy set up for family groups and couples. Please be advised bedroom 4 is only accessible via bedroom 3 Stay on site and chill out with your group, or set out to explore the region with easy access to the local sites at Cathedral Cove, Cooks Beach, and Hot Water Beach. Park up and walk everywhere - the beach, reserve, shops and cafes, tennis courts and Cathedral Cove. Drive to Ferry Landing, park and cross in the passenger ferry to Whitianga. Plus, Purangi 9 hole Golf Course is a short dive away... Whether you are after total relaxation or loads of adventure, Tutaritari Treasure has you covered!
