Itâs in such a beautiful location but that doesnât make up for its short comings. If you advertise a property to sleep a certain number of people then beds need to safely accommodate this. We had one set of bunks that were totally unfit for purpose and children had to sleep on mattresses on the floor. Other beds in property were very uncomfortable and proper safely measures were not considered. The linen and duvets were discusting and one had mould stains. Inners thin and again not fit ...

Other beds in property were very uncomfortable and proper safely measures were not considered. The linen and duvets were discusting and one had mould stains. Inners thin and again not fit for purpose. The living space didnât have enough seating for a large group so it was hard to gather together in this space. The furniture also had seen better days. We were not expecting brand new furniture or beds but a place that had space for us to be together and enjoy our holiday. I would not recommend Easties Mannor. But we have stayed at many other book a Bach places and they have been amazing.

Lots of room in the house. Very comfortable with fabulous views. Good linen supply. We had a great family holiday.

All of the kitchen/bathroom facilities perform pretty well and make for a comfortable stay, BUT, the level of cleanliness MUST be much higher. When being charged $339.00 per night we have a right to expect much higher standards of cleanliness/hygiene. The kitchen is well equipped but should be presented to a higher cleanliness level - we left the kitchen much cleaner/better organized than we found it. We were 2 adults (husband & wife) who used only a portion of the house - it can obviously cater for large numbers. 'Easties Manner' is a property that begs for much more attention/maintenance. To continue in a seemingly 'unloved' manner does not reflect well on the NZ holiday industry - it could be so much better and truer to the high prices charged. We make these strong statements, to Bachcare and the owner(s) only, in an attempt to lift standards - they are important. Thank you, Marg and Owen Walker.

Vicki “A spacious comfortable house.”
Dated but that wasnât a problem for us. The front two elements on the stove top werenât working and because the oven was switched off at the wall you have to set the clock to get it to work at all. Would have been good to have wifi even if you had to pay for it but overall it was fine.

Appliances and furnishings need updating, drawers in kitchen falling off., Kitchen cookware could do with being replaced. biggest issues were all queen size beds..Bedroom 1 upstairs has saggy mattress with immense roll together. Top room 2 bed very uncomfortable, lost all spring.. curtains in all rooms need replacing with blockout, especially for summer periods. Would have appreciated oscillating fans in bedrooms. All in all had the beds and curtains been better it would have made for a comfortable stay at this time of year.

Karen “Easties manner is in a great spot with outstanding views and is very comfortable to live in.”
It is getting quite tired and in need of some TLC however; mould on the curtains, very dusty under the beds, a hole in the kitchen wall where the range hood used to be. It would also be useful if small items like washing powder, olive oil and tea bags were left at the property for guests to use. That said, we had another lovely stay, despite the weather.

Marieke “We stayed here with our 4 children during the summer holiday.”
Upon arrival we noticed the house was overall very dirty and there were lots of missing and broken items. Mold in the curtains, 2 drafty holes in the wall in the living room/kitchen, very uncomfortable, dirty and broken sofa, dirty utensils, there was a car in the garage blocking the pool table (which had missing balls and broken cue sticks), etc, etc. All in all not worth the money you're paying for this bach, to our opinion. Unlucky for us, there was a big noisy garden maintenance at the property disrupting the peaceful experience on our first 2 days. Location is superb, close to the beach. The holiday manager did her best and brought us balls and cue sticks for the pool table and made sure the car was removed. I would not recommend this place. This was not the healthy and comfortable stay we hoped it would be.

We had rainy weather but were able to spend our time relaxing with everything we needed. Fabulous outlook over the ocean. The home was spacious and comfortable.

Just some minor niggles though. There was a car left in the garage, so to use the pool table as advertised was not that easy. Luckily the weather was great so there was no call for that. Some maintenance on the property would be good - weeds, a good exterior wash, unjamming the downstairs doorway. Also a few domestic pantry items would be nice, dish detergent, soap, shampoo, etc.

Other than that our families loved everything this batch had the view was just amazzzing and so much space. Great place for a big family

As a two family group, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as the layout, provided privacy and zones for both adults and kids. The kitchen was very well-equipped, which was much appreciated. The view from the rooms and deck was stunning and we enjoyed exploring this area, including walks along the beach and through the bush. We would happily return and are grateful to Serena for her support, communication and service.

Linen
Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
Easties Manner is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom Rings Beach holiday home. This spacious holiday home is a great family option, right across the road from the beach! This 2 storey Rings Beach holiday home includes open plan living, dining, and kitchen downstairs. The comfortable lounge offers ample room for your group, and leads onto decking for dining al fresco with sea views. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs at this Rings Beach accommodation. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are both fitted with a queen bed, and each include an ensuite bathroom. Downstairs, bedroom 3 is fitted with a queen bed, and bedroom 4 is fitted with a single bunk set plus a single bed with a trundle bed. In addition to the 2 ensuite bathrooms, there is a bathroom and separate toilet off the living area downstairs. When you are not taking in the views from the deck, you are just a stones throw from safe swimming at Rings Beach! Plus, the Kuaotunu boat ramp is 5 minutes up the road. Everything is on hand for a fuss free beach break at Rings Beach... Easties Manner awaits!
Access to Rings Beach is currently only via Bluff Road Kuaotunu as the Matarangi access is blocked off due to dangerous overhanging rocks.
As there is a retained garden at the back of the property, all guests should take care in this area due to the risk of falls.
