Tim “The property was in a fantastic location.”
The linen and towels were excellent. The overall space inside and out were good but it was badly laid out, with things all over the place. The accommodation had not been cleaned prior to our stay which meant we got off to a bad start. Whilst we left it cleaner than when we arrived this would still not be good enough in my opinion for the next residents.

Lindsay “Safe refuge for 2 plus little dog during stormy winds and rain from Cyclone Hale in 2nd week of Jan '23 - modern, uplifting venue, close to walkways, shore and town.”
Left a note for Bachcare cleaners; didn't use BBQ as left very dirty (food scraps, grease, etc) by previous guest / not cleaned. Place needed an overall spring-clean; very dusty in places, hair in bathroom area, some items of rubbish, food scraps (cheese) found under bed, behind sofa, etc. Bathroom tap needed maintenance - quite stiff to turn on / off. Kitchen cloth provided stank! Left outside to air during stay / used our own. Could do with 2 clean, dry cloths left by staff at beginning of each stay, for both the kitchen and the vanity / bathroom area, please? Otherwise, one of the only dog-friendly places around Tairua - very grateful to stay and would return to stay and look after it again in the future... Thank you.

Had a view out over the water from the deck and a nice easy walk to the township. On the main rd however noise was no issue during sleeping hours for us.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
The Beach Pod Studio is a modern, newly built, 2 bedroom Tairua bach and is 1 of 2 pods. This property offers easy indoor/outdoor living with peaceful surrounds and a beautiful view of the Tairua Harbour. This Tairua bach is the lower pod of two (2), and is a great option for a couples or a small family to enjoy tranquil Tairua in comfort. This studio has a mini kitchen equipped with microwave, air-fryer and a fridge/freezer. It is to be noted that this property does not have a designated lounge area, however the space opens onto generous decking for relaxing and dining al fresco. Bedroom one (1) at this Tairua beach pod accommodation is fitted with a king bed, and bedroom two (2) with a king single bed. Each of the bedrooms enjoy floor to ceiling glass doors that open onto a deck for brilliant summer living! It is a flat 10-15 minute walk to Tairua village, with its lovely restaurants, takeaway outlets, boutiques, gift shops and many more. This studio makes for easy holiday living. That step up from camping that you deserve! Come and enjoy this slice of paradise at The Beach Pod Studio.
