“We loved the location amongst the NZ bush.”
Overall the property is beautiful. For the price there should be more attention to detail i.e. TV is NOT user friendly and even a challenge for the maintenance man, small spiders hatched in the cutting board drawer, cutting boards look marginally clean, chipped crockery, poor lighting to read in bed. Also to charge extra for linens is unnecessary at that cost.

Chris “Treetop Oasis is located in a picturesque 10 acres of native bush and is only a 5-minute drive to the township of Tairua and the main beach.”
The house is spacious and has a direct, albeit filtered view of the township and Pacific Ocean. The beds are comfortable, and the main bedroom is huge and private. The house however has seen better days and has a ’tired’ appearance. The grass had not been cut and the garden was overgrown, with trees blocking out what could be amazing and comprehensive views of Tairua…. surely the views are this properties' best asset?! The house was superficially clean, but one would have expected it to have been cleaned thoroughly prior to summer rentals. There is an issue with the roof, and water drips from the veranda roof constantly, in different places, making it difficult to position the outdoor table. The kitchen needs new crockery, the dishwasher is old, the microwave is rusty, and the oven door doesn’t close properly. All the appliances, with the exception of the refrigerator, need to be replaced. The second bedroom has only minimal storage, with no drawers to put clothes in. This is fine if you are staying overnight…. but not for a week. This house could be spectacular…. but the owner needs to put some money back into the property, so the ‘old girl’ can shine again!

Rosanna “House is in a nice peaceful location, however amenities were lacking.”
Dishwasher didn’t work properly and there was no gas in the BBQ, it also broke a few times which we fixed it ourselves.

The property has a number of little walks that you can explore. The beds are very comfortable and the master bedroom is very spacious and luxurious. The location is very private and there are lots of birds to watch. Highly recommended.

The property
Treetop Oasis is a modern Tairua Executive Holiday Home with fantastic indoor/outdoor living set in its own 10 acre bush section, all within a few minutes of Tairua township. This spacious Tairua accommodation offers ultimate privacy and comfort (with free Wi-Fi) for a well deserved getaway in a beautifully serene setting with both bush and water views. Adding to the pure peace and privacy, this Tairua holiday home is accessed via a long, private gated driveway with ample parking. The surround decking spans the entirety of the home and takes you to the front entrance. As you walk inside the small hallway, the laundry is to your left and the well appointed kitchen to your right.
