Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Set on the outskirts of the Whangamata township, The Blue Rendevous is nothing short of warm and welcoming. This is the ideal destination to take some time out and still feel at home. Everything you might need on hand for easy holiday living including a fireplace for winter stays, a BBQ ready to fire up for summer dinners fresh off the grill, a large sundeck to lounge out on to enjoy some outdoor living and because the backyard is fully fenced, your children can stay safe. Sleeping up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, makes this an excellent place for the whole family to use as their base camp when heading to Whangamata. Plenty of space for everyone to unwind and then bring everyone together at the end of the day in the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area for some delicious holiday meals or to snuggle up in front of a movie. Stay onsite and enjoy recharging the batteries or check out what Whangamata has to offer for adventure and activities. A 4-minute drive will have you right in the heart of Whangamata or parking up to the white sandy beach for some sun, sand and surf. The Blue Rendevous welcomes you!

About the location

Whangamata is a favourite holiday destination in the Coromandel. It has one of the best surf breaks in the area, as well as having safe enough swimming for families. Behind the well-equipped town is a large forest park, with walking tracks and biking trails through lush native forest. All of our Whangamata holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.

    “This place was so cozy, and we really enjoyed our stay.”

    It had everything we needed. The only thing missing was a dryer, but we managed with the laundromat and the fireplace. The rubbish system was a little inconvenient, but it didn’t impact our stay I had my uncle take care of it as I didn’t want to leave bins full. For future winter guests coming from overseas, I’d recommend leaving enough firewood for the whole stay. Luckily, being my hometown, my uncles were able to supply us with extra firewood The ping pong table was such a fun ...

We also loved seeing the mandarin and lemon trees outside. There was even a boat on the property, though I don’t think it was part of the booking. Fishing rods and tackle box woukd be a great extra to add i reckon. It’s a stunning home, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and every room had heating. I would definitely love to book again.We loved this house best stay in NZ for sure
