The automation is not convenient when you ignore previous communication. Not impressed with Bach Care and, depending on the outcome here, will avoid using the service again. Here are our issues: -We arrived and unpacked items in the kitchen and when I returned an hour later, there was evidence of mice as one had eaten some of an avocado on the kitchen counter. When I investigated there was evidence of mouse droppings on the counter and then under the sink. See attached photo. The plates did not fit in the dishwasher to accommodate the rotating jets - this meant that the cycle didnât go through and we had to rewash and dry the dishes separately. The lights did not work on the ground floor when we returned on Saturday evening. Then, randomly worked later. One of the handles on the kitchen drawers broke in my hand as I tried to open one of the drawers. The screen on the window in the far bedroom (with two single beds) did not Fit the frame and fell on top of one of our guests at night. We had to buy toilet paper for the upstairs bathroom.

Definately decor like your granny's house but that was not a problem. We were very happy as a family of 4 to stay for 4 nights. Easy drive to town or walk if keen.

The property
Holiday Haven is a traditional 4 bedroom 2 bathroom Whitianga bach. This classic kiwi getaway is a fun, family friendly beach base, just minutes from the shops, marina, and beach. This 2 storey older style bach has some bumps and bruises for a simple holiday option. The kitchen is downstairs, and a lounge upstairs with an external connecting staircase. Each space opens outdoors for easy summer living, or enjoy the pool table for any indoor days. Each of the bedrooms is located upstairs at this Whitianga accommodation. Bedroom 1 is fitted with a queen bed, while bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 includes a double bunk with a single on top plus a single bed, and bedroom 4 has 1 single bed. To complete your laid back living, there is a bathroom on each floor. For simple kiwi summers, fire up the BBQ and spend time out with your group, or hit the beach within walking distance from your door. Plus, there are plenty of beautiful Coromandel locations to visit for day trips... Your casual beach holiday awaits, welcome to your Holiday Haven!
