we had a birthday gathering and struggled Cooking the main meal. The outdoor furniture is tired and could do with replacing there was a damp musty smell When we arrived that didnât really shift for the extent of our stay.

Olivia “We had a wonderful stay at Views on Rimu!”
A couple of things you may not be aware of - the boys had issues getting the BBQ going. They seem to think there was issues with the piping, but luckily one of our group had brought his own mini BBQ so we used that instead. Another noticed your upstairs toilet leaks at the back, and asked me to pass this along to you so your floors don't get ruined. Thank you for providing your space, it was everything we needed for our beach celebrations

All furniture however is very dated and at times in poor condition. Cleanliness is superficial with dust flocks in cupboards etc.; spare blankets for winter are old and stained. Quite a few lights in the main upstairs living areas didn't work; we tried the light bulbs in the drawer, but they were either broken or the issue is something else electrical. This was not great especially in winter with early darkness. We booked for 4 nights and were reassured that firewood was provided. There was some, but it took searching around the property to ensure we actually got the place warm for the duration of our stay. A toiled seat downstairs broke while out daughter in law, slim built sat on it while she was watching our grandchildren. This shouldn't happen with reasonable quality and recently improved facilities.

Views on Rimu is a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom Whitianga holiday home with spacious grounds and stunning sea views! Complimentary WiFi is also provided. This 2 story Whitianga holiday home offers ample room for an extended family group. The upstairs open plan living is modern and bright, and flows onto generous decking for cruisy summer stays. An additional sitting room upstairs includes a fireplace for cooler stays. The master bedroom at this Whitianga accommodation is situated upstairs, and is fitted with a double bed and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2, also situated upstairs, is fitted with 2 single beds. Downstairs, bedrooms 3 and 4 each have a double bed, and bedroom 5 includes 2 singles. In addition to the master ensuite, there is a main bathroom downstairs plus an extra toilet upstairs and in the laundry area. The spacious grounds at this Whitianga holiday home, comprising two adjoining hill top sections, make this an ideal space for the children to play. Garage available for a small car.
