Lovely warm cosy place to stay. Beds made to perfection Fire place made up ready to light. Lights left on for this time of the year The bird life and walks were amazing It has everything needed for a wonderful kiwi bach time away. We were very gratful for the fire as it was really cold at night, very comfortable. We enjoyed the kayaks and a quiet drink infront of the lake in the evening. Nexflix wasnt working for us but apart from that iwas was a great weekend. Thank you

I also enjoyed reading about the history of Hatepe. It was dark at night and very quiet an ideal holiday place if you want a rest.

We had all of the things needed to create a special getaway and more, the open fireplace and dry firewood made it even more special! We appreciated the potential to arrive earlier than book in and all communication was excellent. We would love to go back for another stay.

Loved every minute there! It was super relaxing and comfortable with fantastic views! We loved having the beach as our back yard! and our dog was in his element! Already looking forward to the next visit and couldn’t recommend this batch more highly!

The place was warm and welcoming on arrival but unfortunately had to clean up some sticky drink stains of the sofa and floor, kids toys, socks and books under sofa and beds and vacuum the cobwebs and dust from the lounge art and kid’s bedrooms before we could relax and truly enjoy the kiwi bach experience. The bach is just so beautiful that cleaning should not be an opt out DIY feature of this or many other baches. Other than that this place is truly romantic and we would recommend to anyone family or couple and would even love to visit again.

Wonderfully equipped - and that seating area on the decking, simply divine. Couldn't have enjoyed my few days of R&R at North Cole more than I did, with my elderly canine at my side. Thank you for letting the 4 legged friend come too. She was in her element with such easy access into the lake. Can't wait to stay again. Smart TV and Wifi - a bit of a treat for someone who doesn't get time at home to ever watch a movie or listen to music. P.S - loved the photo album and captions in the lounge. Made me laugh and looks like the family have had a lot of fun in that gorgeous wee community for many years.

The kitchen was extremely well equipped for a rental bach, and there was even a decent pantry. The lounge was very cosy especially with the wood fire. The section had some wonderful mature trees and a stunning view of the lake. We would love to stay here again!!
