    “Good size but was very very hot in the house with no air conditioning, couldnt really open doors in windows at night as the mozzies were unreal.”

    Would've been nice to have some warning!! This was a huge let down!! Air conditioning at that time of the year is a must!!

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Just moments from the lake edge and marina, Perfect Position is a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom Motuoapa holiday home. With plenty of room for the family, this warm and welcoming house is an ideal option for your next adventure! This 2 storey Motuoapa holiday home includes well presented open plan living upstairs, with additional living area downstairs perfect for large family groups. In winter light the fire and feel cosy, and in summer unwind on the deck with a view to the lake, and fire up the BBQ. Upstairs at this Motuoapa accommodation, bedrooms 1 and 2 each have a queen bed. Downstairs, bedroom 3 also has a queen bed, while bedroom 4 has a double bunk. Situated in the downstairs lounge, there are two single beds when required. To complete your convenient group set up, there is a bathroom on each floor. This is a lovely spot - a short stroll to the marina, boat ramp, and lake edge. Plus, the local cafe is within a minutes walk from the house and Turangi is a 5 minute drive away. For adventures further afield, you can drive to Taupo (35 minutes), Tongariro Crossing (30 minutes), and Whakapapa Ski fields (under 45 minutes). Your Perfect Position at the lake awaits!

About the location

Motuoapa is a lakeshore settlement located on the southern side of Lake Taupo. The area is great for holidays year-round, whether you're after an adventure or a bit of peace and quiet. Whakapapa ski field is within driving distance, and Taupo's town centre is just over 30 minutes away. Staying here puts you at a good vantage point for days out on the lake, and the panoramic views from the cliff-top walk are breathtaking.
