“The lock box was incredibly hard to open.”
I thought I had put in the wrong code at first but we eventually managed to get it open with a bit of force. The place was generally clean however possibly could do with a "spring" clean. The coffee machine was a bonus. The description of the bedrooms although accurate in what was in there was a little misleading. We thought that meant Bedroom 1 was downstairs. Overall a great place to stay. Will look at going back another time.

Michelle “This is our second stay here.”
The property is lovely and the location amazing. We holiday twice per year in Matheson Bay. However, our experience this time with bachcare was terrible. We were given the wrong key code and spent an hour outside trying to get in. We contacted them and got a new code. The house was not that clean, rubbish in bins and broken toilet bowl we got blamed for. It was the first thing I noticed. Last time it had been lovely. There are other issues I would like to discuss privately with the owner if they could contact us.

Ivana “Great location and view, nice house.”
Unfortunately, we were disappointed to see the place was not clean, we had to sweep and mop and clean the filthy fridge before our use. The outside bbq was very dirty, not cleaned from previous use. The outdoor table and chairs were over the place, the umbrella was broken, lots of debris and leaves everywhere. Again we had to sweep and tidy it so we can enjoy the outside space. We understand we had booked at the last minute a day prior to arrival however the place should be checked and cleaned by the property manager who lives close by before our 3 pm arrival the next day.

Catherine “This is a beautiful, modern house with a lovely view and a short walk to the beach.”
There is plenty of room and the decks are great. Mathesons Bay is a great swimming beach and we enjoyed the bush walk.

Three bedrooms upstairs with bathroom. Lovely kitchen, with lots of room. Bathroom and laundry downstairs. Was great to have two decks- one that looked out to sea and the other looking into the bush. So nice that both nights we used the BBQ instead of eating out. A short walk to the beach to swim. Great swimming beach. Would highly recommend this property.

Well appointed, great sofas - we had a great time staying in at night. Love that it's just a short walk to Matheson Bay. Lovely view from the house. This is obviously a lovely summer house, with the view, deck under trees, and lots of fans. Can do with more heating and blankets for winter.

Quiet and perfect for a weekend getaway. Property manager was friendly, knowledgeable about Leigh and the house is clean, modern and private. Back deck opens into a native Bush area and it was our favourite part of the house. Would definitely book there again.
