“Gorgeous Bach at a stunning beach!”
This Bach is super cute. It was lovely and clean, family friendly, close to the beach and it even had a few extra things in case you had forgotten them. I would love to go back and stay longer. Only negative was that the beds weren't overly comfortable.

It’s the perfect kiwi bach. Has all the comforts of home, super clean (although BBQ could do with a scrub) we took ours so wasn’t an issue, GREAT location, would def stay again - reminds me of childhood holidays at the beach.

We enjoyed sunny breakfast on the deck in the back of the house and reading time on the couch in the outside but undercover space when it rained. All facilities worked fine. We missed wifi a bit. We plan to visit again.

Would highly recommend to anyone wanting an affordable, quiet and basic kiwi Bach walking distance from the beach! We loved all the artwork which made it feel very homely! Just note that the shower head was loose and needs to be repaired.

Well situated in Omaha. I needed to change the light bulb in the bedroom. The shower noodle needs some attention also. I was a little disappointed there was no shower gel/soap as I don’t tend to travel with this. Nor was there any milk for us to have with a cup of tea. Just small things but they make the difference (We were only there for events happening around Omaha so we weren’t bringing any food/milk etc). Never the less it is a perfect place if looking for the Bach holiday in summer. I would stay again and recommend.

Lisa “Wonderful little bach for an Omaha getaway.”
Nothing glitsy about this place, but it ticks all the boxes for a family or friend trip. The bach itself was wonderfully nostalgic with all the mid century furniture. The outdoor set up was great if you were doing a bbq. Super close to the beach! Great place!

) and a TV for us to enjoy the America's Cup racing on. It is super close to the beach and an easy 2 minute walk. We loved it and would definitely come again.

No modern conveniences. Kitchen original and it definitely needs new appliances and crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, to be a popular rental. Lino and grass matting on floors plus the dirty rugs need cleaning or replacing. Bathrooms original. Not recommended.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

About the location
Just an 8-minute drive from Matakana is the long stretch of a white sandy surf beach that is Omaha. This is a great area to base yourself from, located within a short drive to all the gems of the area such as Snells beach, Sandspit, Campbell's Beach and Tawharanui National Park. The best place to be in Omaha is certainly beachside, watching surfers battle the waves or taking a dip in one of the calmer areas yourself.
