Have definitely talked about returning! A few bits of feedback: There is a bird nesting in the roof (you can see from the top level hallway window facing the road) and going in and out of the vent it was noisy. Not sure why but on one night it was constant (despite being night time!). It was great to have the extras (TV/sounds system etc) but we were unable to play our own music as no bluetooth/smart TV capabilities and the sound system was older and most of the CDs were scratched. If we had known we would have brought a bluetooth speaker with us. :) No information booklet (that we could find) so we weren't sure if we were allowed to access beach via gates or had to walk round the walkway past the playground. Would also have been handy to know hours for the store and cafe as well as know about the cafe by the golf club and have a few suggestions for local things to do. None of these were deal breakers but wanted to feed them back to you. Like I said, we loved it and it was perfect for a few relaxing days away with friends.

Affordable and would definitely stay here again. The only setback was communication with Bachcare, very poor and I had to make multiple calls and every time the office would say they would call me back they never did. This was 5-6 times. Very frustrating and instead of enjoying our holiday, we were stressed and left in limbo whether we had a place to stay or not. Very disappointing as we have used Bachcare for 7 years and this was the first time communication was appalling. It was easier when we dealt directly with the property managers instead of Bachcare Headquarters.

It was perfect for our 'girls' weekend. So much space to spread out and relax. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the wifi coverage was great. It would be nice to have some little rubbish bins for the bathrooms and several of the light bulbs need to be replaced...especially the one outside the front door. Otherwise it was absolutely fabulous. We would definitely like to stay there again.

6 phones, many promised call back finally got it sorted. If the end outcome was sorted on the first phone call, it would've been a great experience. Providing good service is easy when everything goes well - it's a test when it goes to wrong to still deliver excellent service - but when you can, those are the magic moments people share - both good and bad.

Photos on website must be very old. Pool table has big rip in cloth. Kitchen bench is broken - could easily be fixed with a proper adhesive. A few other things a bit broken. Although plenty of plates (quite old though), and plenty of wine glasses, there were only 3 standard drinking glasses. Good thing was how close it was to the beach and plenty of space for all of us.

There was stuff all over the floor when we arrived. Also update the new photos, the place is tired, and we were unable to have our bbq because it is unusable, and filthy, also there’s no point having photos of the pool table as it’s all ripped and unusable. Good location and lots of space.

The location so close to the beach. The property was clean and had everything you need, and after reading prior reviews was really glad to see the couches were in perfect condition :-) This home has a nice relaxed feel to it that is easy to stay in.

The owner does have new fabric couches on order, but due to shipping delays, they had not arrived in time for your stay. We are also sorry to hear that the general standard of the house did not match your expectations. The windows had been cleaned the previous week, but in coastal areas, they become dirty again quite quickly. The house is a well-loved and used family bach that owners want guests to feel that they can kick back relax in rather than wanting it presented as a luxury property. Bachcare

The bedrooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the furniture, fittings and general decor were very old and grubby and badly in need of an upgrade. The upholstery on the two main sofas was torn and had sheets draped over them. The level of cleaning was also totally inadequate. There were with greasy marks around the handles on all of the kitchen cupboard doors, a tea towel that was put away filthy, appliances and kitchen utensils that had not been cleaned and dead bugs that had collected in the light fittings.

In terms of cleaning, a deep clean had been done before the holiday season as we do these along with the standard cleans after each stay, and the next deep clean is scheduled for this month. We're sorry that in this case, the deep cleans were too far apart for the high occupancy this property experienced over summer. Since your stay we have also cleaned the carpet and windows. So much space and is very comfortable. Nice secure backyard, with easy walkway that leads straight to the beach. Views are amazing. I will be back, and next time will have the kids in tow. Great stay, highly recommend.

Great views from upstairs! Kitchen area could do with a good clean and windows were a bit grubby in dining/lounge area. Apart from that our kids and grandkids had a fun time on the beach and we all had a great stay here. Would definitely go back!
