We made memories indeed, we didn’t get to the mountains/snow, due to road closures of the snow storm, but we sincerely appreciated the time around your table in front of the fireplace - so much fun and laughter. Great views, lots of space inside and out. Unfortunately the dishwasher kept flooding with water on the floor and the microwave did not work (spins, but did not heat food).

The branches of the trees in the driveway need to be cut back, its skrattes the roof of my vehicle. The twin bedroom really needs a table in the middle of the two beds, no extra blankets only one extra pillow, the heater did not work. The worst mattresses ever! All the beds are in despite need of new mattresses. Charge more per night, nobody wants to pay to sleep uncomfortable, that spoiled the weekend getting up on Sat & Sunday morning with a shore body. I’m a travel agent, I will not feel comfortable recommend the property due to its bad mattresses/beds

' Spacious' and 'views' are what come top of mind. The house easily has space for 6 adults and two youngsters; the rooms are large; there is plenty of decking for warmer times. And the view of Mount Ruapheu is simply spectacular. The fire box in the lounge worked well, and there was plenty of firewood. Parking was easy. The house is private and an easy walk to town. Two living areas was useful. We would recommend and will likely visit again.

Perfect views of the mountain and was nice and quiet with spacious outdoors. Would definitely recommend to stay here and will definitely be back again! House was sparkling clean on arrival and everything we needed was there!

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

La Maison is a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom Ohakune holiday home with very fast Wi-Fi. Enjoying a spacious and peaceful section with uninterrupted views of Mt Ruapehu, this Ohakune holiday home is an ideal mountain base with sleeping for up to 9 guests! This Ohakune holiday home includes open-plan living with ample room to relax and unwind. Sit back and enjoy Netflix, Disney, Amazon, SKY Movies & Sport. The fireplace is perfect for toasty winter getaways, or chill out on the deck for summer stays with pristine mountain views... Bedroom 1 at this Ohakune accommodation opens onto the deck and is fitted with a queen bed. Bedroom 2 also has a queen bed. Bedroom 3 includes a queen bed plus a single bed, and bedroom 4 has 2 single beds. 3 of the 4 bedrooms enjoy views of Mt Ruapehu... This is a great set up for family groups and couples, with 2 bathrooms and 2 living areas. La Maison is set in a tranquil and private location with lush lawns, manicured gardens, and a fully fenced section. Situated on a 1 hectare section with a small stream running through the property, you can enjoy the sense of remoteness yet you are just a 2 minute drive to all the shops and restaurants, or a 10 to 15 minute walk. As there is an unfenced stream on the property, adults are encouraged to supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.
