Tony “A few days before arrival I changed the booking from 4 people to 5 but unfortunately on arrival there was only 4 beds made up.”
I could not contact anyone then about this as the property manager contact information in the compendium at the house was incorrect - when I phoned âRachealâ she said she had not worked for Bachcare for 3 years. She did give me the number of another person who she thought was the current property manager but on phoning her she had not worked for Bachcare for a year. This was all before 5pm and I could not get any answer from the 0800 number for Bachcare. Not good enough. After the first night I did eventually manage to get hold of an answer service for Bachcare and they said they would contact Bachcare for me. Eventually at the end of that day I got a phone message the extra linen would be delivered the next day so 2 nights with bedding only for 4 people. The answer service for Bachcare would not give me the number for the current property manager for âprivacyâ reasons which is ridiculous as that should be available in the compendium. I have already emailed Bachcare about all of this but have not had even the courtesy of reply. The house was fine but our stay was tainted by the unsatisfactory circumstances as described above. We are sorry that you had trouble getting through to us and would like to offer that this falls short of our standard. A guest should be able to reach our main office through 0800 42 22 42 and will be responded to within the next business day for non-emergency queries. The contact details for our local manager will be updated at the property. Regardless, the linen supplied did not reflect the updated guest numbers which indicates a system issue, which will be looked into. These issues have been raised internally for investigation so we can prevent this happening in future. Bachcare

Tidy, all the amenities you need, spacious, close to attractions, arrowtown shops, walkways are awesome, lots of playgrounds near by, quick trip into Queenstown. Overall loved your place. Only 2 negatives - Shower pressure in main bathroom was merely a dribble so would advise only to shower in ensuite. Also a tad annoying you only get one towel each for an 8 night stay given we paid $300 for 6 people for linen and there is no dryer so was hard to get towels washed and dried during our stay.

Thank you for providing comfortable, accommodation, a shame the gas fire wasn't working, it would have been lovely the first night we arrived after the snow. The property was well equiped with panel heaters and heat pump.

Further away from the main street than other properties, but great location beside river and easy access to bike track into town. Worked well for two families. Would have been even nicer if the gas fire was operational.

A beautiful & peaceful outlook with access straight onto the Arrow river reserve and riverside paths. The house was warm and cosy and had everything you needed and more! Thanks we loved it!

Large living area and kitchen were great for a group of eight. There was plenty of hot water and the house was very warm. We had an excellent stay. Would highly recommend.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
