    “Good property - large living areas which is great for a family group, close to the lake and great having the jetty very close to the property.”

    Walking distance to the store for coffee is great. Only negative was the top bunk in the small bedroom is very difficult to access even for a fit and agile teenager as the ladder is against the wall and the mattress was really not suitable for the bed - it was smaller than the frame which is not ideal.

Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

A high chair means your smallest family members are taken care of too. Three bedrooms comfortably sleep up to eight guests here at Casita, while a generous sized bathroom provides enough conveniences for everyone. There’s also a washing machine in there for those longer stays. In the summer we think you’ll spend most of your time enjoying the outdoor spaces at Casita. Relax on the patio that stretches the length of the property, and dine alfresco on a feast prepared on the wood-fired BBQ. Wander down to the waterfront to enjoy your morning coffee looking out over the lake. If you have a kayak or two at home, why not bring them along and go for a paddle! At Casita, you’re in a great spot just a five minutes walk away from the Okere Falls store, famous in the area as a great place for a barista coffee and a wholesome bite to eat. Explore the trails in the area on foot, book yourself onto a rafting adventure, or take the boat across the lake to the Lake Rotoiti Hot Pools. Just the right balance of tranquility and adventure await, here at Casita.

Just a 30 minute drive from Rotorua, Okere Falls is a popular kiwi holiday destination near Lake Tarawera, a deep lake filled with brown and rainbow trout. Great activities to do here include fishing or waterskiing, walking the track to Okere Falls, or simply unwinding in your holiday home. Bliss!
