Bachcare was founded in 2003 by Coromandel holiday home owner Leslie Preston and her mother-in-law, Julie Ferne, a permanent resident of Hahei. Julie and Leslie believed that owners could use a helping hand to take the hassle out of the New Zealand holiday home experience.

Bachcare has expanded beyond its roots in Hahei, and is now offering its services throughout New Zealand. From 5 holiday houses under management in 2004, Bachcare now manages over 1,000 holiday homes, growing by the day!
