Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Relax at this laid-back beachy location, within a leisurely stroll to the sand and surf at Waimarama - catch some sun on the deck, hit the beach for days in the waves or get comfortable inside watching movies on the two smart TVs available. Plus, Ocean Beach is a 20-minute drive away, and for day trips, visit Napier a 45-minute drive away! For a low key family-friendly Waimarama break, Waimarama Wonder has you covered! *Please note Bedroom 2 and 3 are connected, and you must enter bedroom 2 to get to bedroom 3.

Please note that a Smart TV, a great variety of DVD movies for adults and children are available. Alternatively, your laptop can be connected to the TV with a HDMI cable to enjoy your own movies.

About the location

Karamea is the West Coast's Gateway to the Kaurangi National Park, and the start of the Heaphy track, which is one of New Zealand's Great Walks. There are also a number of shorter walkways, including the Nikau Walk, for a taste of the 82 kilometre Heaphy track, without all the effort! Other popular visitor activities include kayaking, white water rafting, helirafting, trout fishing, and exploring the limestone arches and caves of the Oparara Basin.
