Had everything we needed for a very warm and comfy stay. The only thing we would have loved is access to a canoe or paddle boat to explore the lake. But otherwise highly recommend for a group stay.

Each couple had their own bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and the children had their own twin beds in a separate bedroom. Being in the middle of winter we had the fire going all the time which kept the cottage warm and cosy. There was plenty of firewood in the wood shed. The cottage was well equiped with everything that we needed. We did take our own collapsable table as we were having a dinner party to celebrate 2 BIG birthdays. However there were plenty of chairs for the 8 of us. On arriving we initially had a problem with the lock box as we were using the wrong one. Apparently there is one for the owners and one for guests. Perhaps a label on the guest one would be helpful. We had a very enjoyable few days and would love to return in the summer.

But there was plenty of firewood so once we got that cranked up was warm as.was perfect for five old fella’s for fishing weekend had everything we needed enough room for 2 boats on the jetty.maybe a couple more tie up points would be usefull.trailer parking was a bit fiddly but was plenty of room.thanks

Great potential

. 3 queen bedrooms each with their own onsuite .. great furniture and sitting outside under the covered verandah was a bonus .. would have liked tea coffee sugar to have been provided but not far to town if you need stuff .. kitchen a bit dated but most things can be found .. firewood advertised but would need to be better in winter .. plenty of room for boat at the jetty .. Rotoiti is an awesome destination .. we have stayed there many times and did really enjoy the lakeside house ..it felt comfortable from when we first stepped inside, to the breakfast cooked on the barbie and eaten in the sun on back lawn .. comfortable beds .. Good showers .. we will definitely be booking here again ... 4.5 stars from all 6 of us ...

On a positive note it was private with a great front yard leading to the waters edge and separate bedrooms with ensuites which was great for 3 couples.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Lakeside Villa, nestled in Te Weta Bay, offers free Wi-Fi and a stunning location right on Lake Rotoiti! This four-bedroom holiday home is the perfect base for days on the lake with access to your own jetty, or simply relaxing in the sun! Lakeside Villa is set up for casual vacations, with an open plan living area downstairs that easily flows out on to decking with views over the gardens to the water. Bedrooms 1 and 2 at Lakeside Villa are situated downstairs and are each fitted with a queen sized bed. Upstairs, Bedroom 3 is fitted with a queen bed and includes deck access with views to the lake. Bedroom 4 is also upstairs and has 2 single beds - room for the whole family! Enjoy laidback days on the lake, or head to Rotorua for adventurous activities and sightseeing, just a 20-minute drive away. For a fuss-free family friendly lake escape, Lakeside Villa has you covered!
