    “Lovely spot so close to the water, but not recommended if you want to sleep in due to the busy pathway in front!”

    Everything in the property was good, although the joint microwave/oven instructions took a bit to come to grips with, and we didn't end up using the microwave function as the glass tray wasn't wide enough without the metal tray underneath and we weren't sure if that's what we needed to do - didn't want to make it arc! However, the reheat function on the oven was brilliant! Washing machine also a bit fancy, so we didn't use it! Something simpler would have done us, but as we were only there 6 ...

No wifi was a bit of a bother in the current age, and I guess we missed that in the listing, so our own fault! It did look like the equipment for it was there though, so maybe something the owners want to consider if they want to increase bookings? We did okay without though as had plenty else to do. The only other thing I would comment on was lack of instruction for rubbish and laundry (the linen hire). We weren't sure what the owners wanted there, so we left all the dirty linen on the bathroom floor and the rubbish in the inside bins and took our recycling away with us. Left a note to this effect, but an instruction might have been useful! Thanks to the owners for the note about the nonworkingg dishwasher (which would have been useful, but we were okay without!) and the warningg about the outside being washed while we were there (they never showed up to do it). Overall though, despite these minor issues, a lovely spot and a very nice place to stay! So handy to local sights too - we visited Kawau and Scandretts whilst there. Thank you?
