With views that stretch across the Northland countryside and coast, you'll be spoilt with a brilliant backdrop come summer or winter. When the sun's out, the wrap-around deck offers both sun-drenched and sheltered spots to choose from. Lounge out with your favourite cold drink and enjoy the vast views for as long you need. It will be hard to find a corner of this home that doesn't get filled with natural light. Enjoy the surroundings through lots of windows and doors that frame the views for indoor-outdoor flow. In winter, the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area has a fireplace perfect for keeping everyone toasty warm. At the end of a busy day exploring this beautiful part of New Zealand, head back to this home away from home for a place to rest your head, ready for day two! In the morning pop down to the bottom of the hill to the local bakery for some tasty treats, or maybe grab something on your way to the beach. From here it's a quick 5-minute drive to the Ruakaka Beach and the local shops, a 15-minute drive to Waipu town and the Waipu Caves, 10-minutes to the Marsden Point marina, and Whangarei is within 20 minutes drive. About the location
Ruakaka is known for its stunning surf beach and vibrant community life, all within an hour and 40 minutes drive from Auckland. The white sandy bay looks out towards the Hen and Chicken Islands, Bream Head, Mt Manaia and Sail Rock, making the area particularly picturesque.
