Positioned on a working farm yet blissfully peaceful, the uninterrupted panoramic views from The Cottage will simply take your breath away. While away the hours gazing out at White Island, Mayor Island, the Makatu Estuary, and Mt Edgecumbe. On a clear day, you may be able to see all the way out to the East Cape!
This four-bedroom holiday home is absolutely drenched in natural light. Open-plan living offers a sense of space, without compromising on that cosy cottage feel the wood-burning fireplace brings.
Open up the French doors and enjoy the indoor-outdoor flow from the living room onto the generous deck. Make yourself a cuppa and get comfy on the outdoor lounge suite, knowing that the kids can play safely in the fully fenced yard.
You’ll have all the essentials on hand to ensure a comfortable stay at your home away from home, including a well-equipped country kitchen and heat pump technology to set the ideal temperature no matter the season. There are a few welcome bonus features too, such as a TV with Sky, and complimentary WIFI to keep you connected throughout your stay.
Four bedrooms comfortably sleep up to eight guests here at The Cottage, and with queen, bunk and single bed configurations, this really is a versatile home for almost any group. Two bathrooms, including one with a magnificent claw foot tub, provide the conveniences for your stay.

The Cottage is just a 15-minute drive from the small rural town of Te Puke. Here you’ll find an assortment of unique shops and eateries, as well as the usual conveniences. For a great little day out, why not visit Kiwifruit Country and get a family photo under the world famous (in New Zealand) giant kiwifruit!
Being almost exactly halfway between Tauranga and Rotorua, a day out from The Cottage can be as relaxing or adventurous as you want! Head north for the chilled-out beach vibes of Mt Maunganui, where surf shops, trendy cafes, and a challenging hike await. Or, make your way south to the tourist mecca of Rotorua, where you can take your pick from an abundance of cultural, geographical, adrenaline, and indulgence activities.

As the property is on a working farm, it’s important that guests stay within the fenced grounds of the property due to the risks involved. With the property being a working farm, no parties or animals are accepted.
Please respect the surroundings and note no excessive noise after 10:00pm. Examples of excessive noise might include loud music, parties, band practice, broken alarms or machinery.
As there is a section of the deck without a barrier with a small drop on to grass, all guests should take care when using this area due to the risk of falls.

About the location
Te Puke is the kiwifruit capital, and one of its most popular attractions is the Kiwi 360 theme park, all about kiwifruit. Te Puke is home to an annual week-long kiwifruit festival, which is one of the highlights on the local events calendar. Another popular attraction in Te Puke is the vintage and classic car display at the Te Puke Auto Barn.
