A lovely property on the estuary that offered bird watching, sunrise viewing and sheltered hang out space. Raglan town centre was an easy 20 minute walk over the bridge. Nga mihi.

The amount of room was incredible enough for 2 small families to stay with ease for future reference. The balcony was a beautiful spot to sit at any time of the day but needed a good clean and sweep which only took a while and would be great if you were pet friendly as we hate not taking our boy with us on holidays. All in all a lovely place and would definitely book again Thank you Wills Family

As we had booked so long ago (prior to cyclone Gabrielle and had to move dates), I was unsure if our booking included linen or not. I checked emails and couldn't see linen mentioned. So I emailed bachcare in the week prior to check and was told that it did include all linen, just bring beach towels. When we got to the house we discovered there was no linen at all. I called bachcare and asked them to clarify, they said they would call me back. Never did. I called back again and was told it would be $200 more, which was annoying as we would have brought our own. They would not budge on that cost. I eventually said ok I will just pay it if could be dropped off tonight. They said they would call back to get payment. Bachcare didn't call back until 2pm the next day! Very very poor service, making us very hesitant about booking again while your house is managed by them despite it being a fantastic property.

We are not overly fussy and understand it is a batch after all, but it was in need of a deep clean and then It would have lasted for many many other stays . Sadly cockroaches everywhere , and no vacuum , cleaner that we could find or half shovel and brush , and the wheelie bin was full of rubbish and we had no where to put out rubbish. But we did buy some bags and placed our rubbish beside the bin. But as said it is a beach batch and in a great location , the towels and linen were great , and the weather was amazing. Our family enjoyed the stay .

Let down by some poor service providers. There was no key , we waited 45 mins for one to arrive. The cleaner didn’t realise we were arriving, and she came back at 4.30 to finish off. We were offered a late checkout to compensate, which unfortunately we couldn’t do. We also had to go out and buy toilet paper, salt and dish detergent. But once we got thru that, we had a brilliant time , such a special spot

We paid for linen but we had no towels and we didnt bring any due to paying for the linen we had to wait till the next morning so had a bit of a restless sleep as we travelled and usually shower before bed tvs in rooms werent working and few power plugs.outside patio was filled with leafs and twigs so we endid up cleaning that up but all in all we still enjoyed our weekend there just a few touch ups woulda made it even better

Great location and close to Whaingaroa Waka Ama event that I came to Raglan for. My friends and I had great time. Loved that you had local art on the walls. For property owners only - the front outside light doesn't work. Your street no was on the ground so place was hard to find. The door to the deck was very hard to lock and unlock. We couldn't find the compost container that you wanted us to use so used a bowl which we left in the fridge.(we love how Raglan is plastic bag free ect)

The views were amazing, so much so we decided to eat in every night and enjoy it. We travelled as two families and took the linen extra cost which was great. Lovely large seating areas and the use of the little table by the bbq was fantastic to move to the bottom of the stairs on the concrete area for afternoon drinkies capturing the sun. Just a few light bulbs need replacing which didn’t work. No kitchen cloth or shower soap but we took our own so not a problem. Thanks for sharing your home. Magic spot.

Plenty of spaces for multi-generational group. Great location - not too far from anywhere. Fabulous view. Only issue we had was two broken toes and one badly sprained one kicking the bed legs in three of the rooms - cool design of bed but padding needed on the legs for some!! (Might just be our family trait!). Great showers and plenty of hot water. Lovely clean linen and plenty of towels. Good wifi. Bachcare were fabulous to deal with as well and I would always recommend dealing with them.

Thank you! We would definitely recommend this property and this ticked all the boxes. I am getting recognition for booking this property as there was enough space and bed. The fire place was magic and there was no need to use the oil heaters. The dining table was massively long which enabled us to play our board games :) Ngā mihi!!

Great to have so many games available and the water pressure is great. Bare in mind that two of the rooms don’t have internal access, if you have access issues or it’s raining you’ll need to consider this.

As a large family with children the layout worked well for us. Plenty of bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and the huge sofa and dining table were ideal! This property is in a fantastic location to get beautiful views all day long, was especially nice catching the evening sun at the bottom of the garden. Nice easy stroll/bike ride into town for lunch or over to the kids playground and beach.

The location is in close proximity to town and a bonus how it’s nestled on the waters edge. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend with a fire to cosy up to and a beautiful view to enjoy. We had an afternoon on the grass and even managed to have an hours yoga down by the water. The rain made the external access to the downstairs a little problematic with the outside steps becoming very slippery. All in all, I highly recommend this accommodation.

An idyllic holiday awaits at this 1950s Raglan waterfront accommodation. This wooden bach is the ideal weekend getaway with the harbour right at your doorstep. Simple and cosy, this is a slice of retro Kiwi bach culture in an unbeatable location. This Raglan waterfront holiday home is well suited for families, and couples holidaying together, sleeping up to 6 people across two bedrooms plus an externally accessed sleepout. Bedroom one and two offer a queen bed in each, and the sleepout is perfect for another two guests with a queen bed. There is plenty of space for your group to relax inside, on the spacious desk, or head out for a game of backyard cricket on the lawn. Enjoy stunning ocean views from the deck as you sip, or wander down the lawn to the water's edge and swim, kayak, or fish from the private jetty. Waterfront Bach is a 2-minute walk to the local store which serves up outstanding pizza, gelato and coffee! The quirky and laidback township of Raglan is a 15-minute walk or 2-minute drive. Surfers will love the West Coast location, with patrolled Ngarunui beach and world famous surfing spots Whale Bay and Manu Bay just 5-10 minutes away by car.
