The owner’s describe the best beach in New Zealand by a country mile as Oke Bay, which is a hop and a skip from the house, and remains somewhat of an undiscovered Northland gem! If you are lucky, you will find the Tuatuas (NZ shellfish) there which make for a delightful fresh seafood meal, and keep your eye out for dolphins who are regular visitors to the bays either side of the house! If you’re game try a ‘bomb’ or two off the cliff at high tide!
Spread your wings and roam the surrounding coastline, with excellent walks that leave from right outside the back deck – including the world renowned Cape Brett walkway. Bring the boat and all the toys for an action packed adventure, or simply put your feet up and luxuriate on site with a spot of al fresco dining.
